The Taken Road

I’m walking along the street,
Counting my step, one-by-one,
Looking around make me eager,
Coz I know I’m not alone.

Double white line escort my first step,
Guiding me to follow the road flow,
My parents seems like that,
Wrought me since I’m infant.

When it becomes white dotted lines,
It makes me perform like a flying baby bird,
Friends with peers,
And trying to know what friendship is.

The next step is at night,
Too scarify coz it is darker than black,
But fortunately the street lamp lightening my darkness,
Like him, who gave me the true love.

So I’m continue stepping, one-by-one,
Until at the end of the street,
There’s no more ways to go,
Coz I’ve found the dot of this journey – DEATH.

I OWN this poem.
Inspired by The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.
